HPRedo
HPRedo is a training platform for Högskoleprovet, the Swedish university admissions test: past exams with answers and explanations, free tools and a ten-question session you can do without an account. We built it from first sketch to running service.
The web app is live. The iOS and Android app is being built and is not released yet.

The brief
Past exams are easy to find, but an answer key only says what is right, not why. We wanted to build something that explains, and that helps you decide what to practise next.
It is also our own product. We owned every decision, from product and design to payments and marketing, and we still run it. That is why we can show the whole job and not just a nice front page.

What we built
A training loop, not an archive
Understand, prioritise, practise, review and follow your progress. Past exams with answers and explanations after every response, a free ten-question session without an account, an exam simulator, a section diagnosis and a score-conversion calculator.
Own brand and design system
Logo, colours, grid and tone of voice set down in guidelines, so web, app and social media feel like one product.
A web app where the server holds the answers
Next.js 16 and Supabase. Scores, credits and access are always decided by the server, never by what the browser claims.
Mobile app in progress
iOS and Android are built in Expo against the same backend as the web, with no separate grading in the app. Not released yet.
Payments
Stripe on the web and RevenueCat for the apps. Webhooks are signature-verified and safe to receive more than once.
Search and content
Hundreds of indexable pages: past exams, tools, guides and articles, with a sitemap and structured data.
Marketing
An Instagram content pack with content pillars, a calendar and imagery, and clear rules for what we may claim.

What it means for your business
What we learned here applies to your business
You get found
Pages Google can read, with the right headings and structure from the start. We build visibility in rather than bolting it on afterwards.
How we did it
HPRedo has hundreds of indexable pages, from past exams to free tools and articles.
Fast, on mobile too
Pages rendered on the server that load straight away. Most visitors are on a phone and won't wait.
How we did it
HPRedo is built on Next.js 16 with server rendering as the starting point.
A design system, not loose pages
Colours, type and components are decided once. New pages and add-ons are quicker to make and look like the rest.
How we did it
HPRedo has its own guidelines for brand, colour and tone that govern both web and social media.
Payments when you need them
Card payments and subscriptions can be connected to your site, with confirmations that don't double-count if something goes wrong. We build it only when it's needed.
How we did it
In HPRedo, payments are built with Stripe on the web and RevenueCat for apps, and access is always decided on the server.
An app that shares its engine with the site
If you later want an app, sign-in and data are reused instead of rebuilt from scratch.
How we did it
HPRedo's iOS and Android app is built in Expo against the same backend as the web. It is not released yet.
Ads made from your real material
We make ads, films and posts from your actual service, not stock photos, and stick to claims you can back up.
How we did it
For HPRedo there is an Instagram content pack with pillars, a calendar and imagery.
